Windham RVT is on a ten-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Cheney Tech is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Windham RVT Mighty Tigers will welcome the Cheney Tech Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Windham RVT knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine games -- so hopefully Cheney Tech likes a good challenge.
Last Wednesday, Windham RVT strolled past Hartford Public with points to spare, taking the game 69-52. Given the Mighty Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the Owls are ranked 87th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Brady Marsh was his usual excellent self, putting up 34 points in addition to six steals and five assists. His evening made it 11 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kayden Carroll, who posted ten points and six assists.
Meanwhile, Cheney Tech unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 66-53 to Enfield.
Windham RVT will need focus on slowing down Mohamed Camara, one of several Cheney Tech players who made an impact when they last played. He went 5 for 10 en route to 11 points. Camara has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 11 times he's played. Isaiah Williams was another key player, earning nine points.
Even though they lost, Cheney Tech smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in seven consecutive contests.
Windham RVT's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Cheney Tech, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-3.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Windham RVT has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 35.9 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Cheney Tech struggles in that department as they've been averaging 35.1 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
