Recap: Antlers Bearcats vs. Tushka Tigers
The Antlers Bearcats's five-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They walked away with a 59-47 win over Tushka. Antlers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Tushka lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Tagen Simon, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds. The match was Simon's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Tuff Carey, who scored 11 points.
Antlers' win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Tushka, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.
Antlers' road trip will continue as they head out to face Fort Towson at 8:00 p.m. on January 9th. As for Tushka, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Caney at 8:00 p.m. on January 9th. Caney is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
