Baseball Recap: Handley Takes a Loss

After flying high against Rock Ridge on Thursday, Handley came back down to earth. The Judges came up short against the Warren County Wildcats on Monday, falling 18-4. If the Judges were looking for revenge after losing 9-0 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in May of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Handley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joshua Truban, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI. Carson Otto also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Handley has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Warren County, their record now sits at 2-3.

Coming up, Warren County will square off against Skyline at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Handley will be paying especially close attention to the Wildcats' contest: after the Wildcats face off against the Hawks, they'll take on Handley again at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
