Basketball Recap: Federal Hocking Comes Up Short

Federal Hocking was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 67-51 bruising from the Alexander Spartans. The Lancers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Federal Hocking's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Alexander, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-12.

Federal Hocking will be playing at home against Eastern at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alexander, they will venture away from home to face off against Meigs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meigs has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 251 points over their last three matchups.
