Basketball Game Preview: Henley Hornets vs. Ashland Grizzlies

The Henley Hornets are taking a road trip to take on the Ashland Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ashland took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Henley, who comes in off a win.

Henley will head into Saturday's game on the come-up: they were handed a 22-point loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 41-38 victory over Brookings-Harbor.

Meanwhile, Ashland came up short against Wilsonville on Sunday, falling 75-55. The loss was the Grizzlies' first of the season.

Henley's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Ashland, they dropped their record down to 2-1 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Henley strolled past Ashland when the teams last played back in January by a score of 71-53. The rematch might be a little tougher for Henley since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
