Volleyball Recap: Grayson Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Archer, Grayson was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Ola Mustangs. That's more bragging rights for the Rams, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Grayson not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Ola between 16 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-17.

Dior Williamson paced Grayson's offense, picking up eight kills. Williamson got some help from Sydney Pitts and her 22 assists. Milan Cannon controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Grayson has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-11 record this season. As for Ola, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-11 record this season.

Grayson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ola, they will head out to face off against West Laurens at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
