Recap: Steelton-Highspire Steamrollers vs. Antietam Mountaineers
There's no place like home for the Steelton-Highspire Steamrollers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Friday. They had just enough and edged Antietam out 61-58. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Antietam's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was AJ Schiefly, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds. Schiefly scored a full 31% of Antietam's points, the ninth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Shawn Raffety was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Steelton-Highspire has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Antietam, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.
