Basketball Game Preview: Hartford Public Owls vs. Weaver Beavers

Hartford Public hasn't had much luck against Weaver recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Hartford Public Owls will welcome the Weaver Beavers at 5:15 p.m.

Hartford Public is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Wednesday. They had to suffer through a 54-11 loss at the hands of Parish Hill. The Owls were down 35-6 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Weaver beat Bridgeport International Academy/Academy of Aerospace and Engineering 43-37 on Friday.

Weaver's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Hartford Public, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
