Basketball Recap: Signal Mountain Takes a Loss

Signal Mountain lost against Soddy Daisy back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Signal Mountain Eagles fell 41-29 to the Soddy Daisy Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 273rd, while the Trojans are ranked 114th).

Signal Mountain has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. The win was the 17th in a row for Soddy Daisy, bringing their record for this year to 23-7.

As of now, neither Signal Mountain nor Soddy Daisy have any future games scheduled.
