Softball Recap: Moses Lake Snags Sixth Win in Last Seven Games

While Moses Lake's victory against Wenatchee wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mavericks had just enough and edged out the Panthers 9-8 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Mavericks have posted since May 10, 2024.

The team relied heavily on Hayden Morris, who went a perfect 5-for-5 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. She has been hot, having posted three or more hits the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Lila Johnson, who went 2-for-5 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base.

Moses Lake was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wenatchee only posted a batting average of .290.
