St. Joseph Academy lost to Washington Classical Christian back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Flashes really took it to the Warriors for the full four quarters, racking up a 54-12 victory. The Flashes pushed the score to 46-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Warriors had no chance of recovering from.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Joseph Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lola Scardelli, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten assists. Scardelli is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Addison Maushart, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 18 boards.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: St. Joseph Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.

The win was the third in a row for St. Joseph Academy, bringing their record up to 3-0. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 16.3 points on average this season. As for Washington Classical Christian, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, St. Joseph Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against KIPP Bold City at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Washington Classical Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Harvest Community at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
