Softball Recap: Goochland Bulldogs vs. Fluvanna County Flying Flucos

Goochland lost against Fluvanna County back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Flying Flucos by a score of 4-3. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Riley McCain put in work no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 6.2 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. McCain was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, Kyndall Shapiro was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double. That triple was her first of the season.
