Volleyball Recap: Indian Springs Comes Up Short

After flying high against Eisenhower on Wednesday, Indian Springs came back down to earth. The Indian Springs COYOTES lost 3-0 to the Summit SkyHawks on Thursday.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-13, 25-13.

Indian Springs' offense was headlined by Tristan Stevens and Andy Morales, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Julian Maldonado and his nine assists. Alex Padilla controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Christian Salivio went supernova for Summit, getting 22 digs. The dominant performance gave Salivio a new career-high in digs.

Indian Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Summit, their victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-4.

Indian Springs wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Canyon Springs on the 6th. As for Summit, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Jurupa Valley on the 3rd.
