Brighton dropped down to 6-2 on Friday, ending the team's six-game streak of wins. They took a 37-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Howell Highlanders. The matchup was a 14-14 toss-up at halftime, but the Bulldogs couldn't quite close it out.

Brayden Platt threw for 39 yards. Jamo Jamo was his top target, picking up 29 receiving yards. On the ground, Dominic Nauss rushed for 55 yards and three scores.

As for Howell, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.8 points on average over those games.

Bryce Kish had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 178 yards and three TDs on only ten carries. Those 178 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

As of now, neither Brighton nor Howell have any future games scheduled.
