Basketball Recap: Northwest Christian School Piles Up the Points Against Chewelah

Northwest Christian School won the last time they faced Chewelah and things went their way on Saturday too. The Northwest Christian School Crusaders blew past the Chewelah Cougars, posting a 61-12 victory. Given the Crusaders' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 53rd, while the Cougars are ranked 331st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Northwest Christian School's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Chewelah, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-19.

Coincidentally, Northwest Christian School and Chewelah will both be playing Kettle Falls the next time they take the court. Northwest Christian School will head out to face Kettle Falls at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Chewelah will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
