Butte Valley skates past Dunsmuir with ease

Recap: Butte Valley Bulldogs vs. Dunsmuir Tigers
The Butte Valley Bulldogs won the last time they faced the Dunsmuir Tigers, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Butte Valley breezed by Dunsmuir on the road to the tune of 67-37. The win made it back-to-back wins for Butte Valley.
When it comes to explaining why Dunsmuir lost, one person who can't be blamed is Michael Kellar. Despite the final result, he scored 37 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The match was Kellar's seventh in a row with at least ten points.
Butte Valley's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-5. As for Dunsmuir, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Butte Valley won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Hayfork at 7:00 p.m. on January 10th. As for Dunsmuir, they will head out on the road to face off against Surprise Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Surprise Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 back in December of 2023.
