Brodhead is 8-2 against Jefferson since November of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Brodhead Cardinals will host the Jefferson Eagles at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Last Tuesday, Brodhead was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 53-48 to East Troy. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 240th, while the Trojans are ranked 90th).

Meanwhile, Jefferson ended up a good deal behind Evansville on Tuesday and lost 65-50.

Brodhead's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.

Brodhead beat Jefferson 55-42 when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Does Brodhead have another victory up their sleeve, or will Jefferson turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
