Softball Recap: Eastern Takes a Loss

Clinton Central hit Eastern with a five-run first inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Comets lost 11-1 to the Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-10 last Thursday.

Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 4-23. As for Clinton Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-13.

Eastern does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clinton Central, they will challenge Bethesda Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
