Basketball Recap: Johnson County Sports Association Comes Up Short

While losing is never fun, Johnson County Sports Association can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1541st, while Gloria Deo Academy is ranked 425th).

Clara Malloy was Johnson County Sports Association's leading scorer, having posted two points. Margaret Lantrip held things down on the boards with four rebounds.

Johnson County Sports Association has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 13 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-16-1 record this season. As for Gloria Deo Academy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 27-6.

Johnson County Sports Association wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 29-26 defeat against Salem Sayers Baptist Academy on the 14th. As for Gloria Deo Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-14 victory against East Texas Homeschool Sports on the 14th.
