The Benton HomeSchool Bucks will be taking part in a tournament against the Fort Wayne HomeSchool Hawks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Benton HomeSchool will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Last Friday, Benton HomeSchool beat Kokomo HomeSchool 58-49.

Meanwhile, Fort Wayne HomeSchool posted their biggest win since October 26, 2024 on Thursday. Everything went their way against Mishawaka HomeSchool W as Fort Wayne HomeSchool made off with a 68-43 victory. Given the Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while the Wildcats are ranked 404th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Benton HomeSchool better keep an eye on Trevon Maley. He was instrumental in Fort Wayne HomeSchool's win, going 7 for 10 from beyond the arc on his way to 32 points in addition to eight boards and three blocks. That's the most points Maley has posted since back in October of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Krawczyk, who went 6 of 10 en route to 14 points and four steals.

Fort Wayne HomeSchool was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive contests.

Benton HomeSchool pushed their record up to 17-5 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Fort Wayne HomeSchool, they have also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

Benton HomeSchool came up short against Fort Wayne HomeSchool in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 63-55. Can Benton HomeSchool avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
