Softball Recap: Coon Rapids Takes a Loss

The Coon Rapids Cardinals didn't have quite enough to beat the Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres on Monday and fell 7-5. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Coon Rapids' defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Sartell-St. Stephen, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coon Rapids will challenge Maple Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cardinals are facing the Crimson at the right time seeing as the Crimson are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Sartell-St. Stephen, they will face off against Alexandria at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
