Volleyball Recap: Wheaton North Comes Up Short

Wheaton North was the 2-0 winner over Oak Creek when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights on Saturday.

Haley Hanavan paced Wheaton North's offense, picking up three kills. Hanavan got some help from Sophia Ohashi and her five assists. Mary Kate Whittington controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Wheaton North's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Oak Creek, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-14.

Wheaton North didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Brookfield Central on the 4th. As for Oak Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Brookfield East on the 4th.
