Basketball Recap: Mineral Wells Takes a Loss

Mineral Wells was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were dealt a 57-26 loss at the hands of the Glen Rose Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 476th, while the Tigers are ranked 17th).

Mineral Wells' defeat dropped their record down to 15-15. As for Glen Rose, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 30-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mineral Wells will head out to take on Stephenville at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Glen Rose, they will venture away from home to challenge Brock at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
