Basketball Recap: Hopi Takes a Loss

Hopi lost against Many Farms back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hopi Bruins took a 50-35 bruising from the Many Farms Lobos. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Many Farms got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kenzie Bahe out in front who posted 13 points and five steals. Bahe is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Lavonna Ben, who earned 11 points.

Hopi's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Many Farms, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-4.

Hopi will challenge Tuba City at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Many Farms, they will take on Wingate at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Wingate has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
