Softball Recap: Eastern Musketeers vs. North Harrison Cougars

Eastern had lost four straight at home, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 7-11 to make it five. They lost 12-1 to the North Harrison Cougars. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Musketeers have suffered against the Cougars since May 8, 2018.

Bracie Jackson put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Jackson wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Sidney Patton, who went 1-for-3 with one run.
