Softball Recap: Wilmington Greyhounds vs. Mercer Mustangs
After flying high against Reynolds on Wednesday, Wilmington came back down to earth. The Greyhounds fell 7-4 to the Mercer Mustangs on Friday. The Greyhounds were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 10-7.
Wilmington saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Avery Harlan, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Skylar Leishman was another, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one RBI.
