Baseball Recap: Jacksonville Comes Up Short

Jacksonville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Sylvan Hills Bears, falling 19-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Titans of the 9-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Jacksonville's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Sylvan Hills, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bears beat Jacksonville by a score of 11-0 later that day.
