Soccer Game Preview: Monroe Catholic vs. West Valley

The Monroe Catholic Rams will face off against the West Valley Wolf Pack at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Valley took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Monroe Catholic, who comes in off a win.

While Monroe Catholic's win against North Pole wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rams had just enough and edged out the Patriots 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Monroe Catholic.

Rory Morgan and Mylee Nafpliotis scored both of Monroe Catholic's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for West Valley's offense. They came up short against Dimond on Saturday, falling 6-0. West Valley have struggled against Dimond recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

West Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2-1. As for Monroe Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
