Baseball Recap: Saint Francis Catholic Falls Short of Orangewood Christian in the Playoffs

Saint Francis Catholic and Orangewood Christian squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Saint Francis Catholic had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Rams by a score of 5-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 on Monday.

Saint Francis Catholic saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sander Williams, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.

Saint Francis Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 21-9. As for Orangewood Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Saint Francis Catholic nor Orangewood Christian have any future games scheduled.
