Football Preview: Scottsbluff Bearcats vs. McCook Bison

Smith was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 60 yards. Braxton Burford was another key player, picking up 92 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Scottsbluff was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 351 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 272 rushing yards in six consecutive games.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday McCook sidestepped Ogallala for a 14-12 victory.
Scottsbluff pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for McCook, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.
