It was a proper cat-fight when Concord Christian duked it out with Oak Ridge on Saturday. The Lions came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won four in a row.

Clara Sanchez paced Concord Christian's offense, picking up six kills. Sanchez got some help from Laynie Sanchez and her nine assists. Madisyn Glasgow and Manhattan Shuler kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Concord Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Oak Ridge, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Concord Christian has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against First Baptist Academy on the 23rd. As for Oak Ridge, they are taking a road trip to take on Carter at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
