Soccer Game Preview: Dumas vs. Perryton

The Dumas Demons will head out to face off against the Perryton Rangers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dumas will be strutting in after a victory while Perryton will be coming in after a defeat.

Perryton better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Dumas' game on Thursday is any indication, that's when Dumas really gets things going. Everything went the Demons' way against Hereford as they made off with a 7-3 win. Considering Dumas' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

They hit Hereford with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kyara Chavira (3), Jacky Ibarra (2), Denisse Macias, and Nevaeh Trejo.

Meanwhile, Perryton fell victim to Randall and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Raiders, falling 8-0. The loss continues a trend for Perryton in their meetings with Randall: they've now lost seven in a row.

Dumas' victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Perryton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
