Football Recap: Stillman Valley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Rock Falls last Friday, Stillman Valley came back down to earth. The Cardinals were beaten by the Dixon Dukes & Duchesses 55-0 on Friday. The game marked the first time this year in which the Cardinals were not able to get on the board.

It was another big night for Landon Knigge, who rushed for 205 yards and four scores on only 15 carries for Dixon. Knigge's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 139 rushing yards. Jagger Kemp was another key player, throwing for 120 yards and one TD while completing 84.6% of his passes.

Stillman Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Dixon, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Stillman Valley has already played their next contest, a 21-15 victory against Oregon on the 10th. As for Dixon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 50-15 win against Winnebago on the 10th.
