Soccer Recap: West Broward Comes Up Short

West Broward and Cypress Bay squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but West Broward had to settle for second. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cypress Bay Lightning. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 343rd, while the Lightning are ranked 62nd).

West Broward's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10-2. As for Cypress Bay, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-3-3.

As of now, neither West Broward nor Cypress Bay have any future games scheduled.
