Volleyball Recap: Monterey Dores vs. Santa Catalina Cougars
Monterey lost to Santa Catalina back in September of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Dores were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cougars. The game was the first time the Dores have beaten the Cougars on their court since October 22, 2019.
Monterey never let Santa Catalina on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-14, 25-20.
Monterey found their leader in sophomore Drea Pham, who had three digs and three aces.
