After only 13 points in their last game, Porter Ridge made sure to put some points up on the board against Piedmont on Friday. The Pirates blew past the Panthers, posting a 41-6 victory. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.
Rai'Shawn Elmore continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 145 yards and four scores on only 12 carries. Cam Washington got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 11 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Elmore, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
