Basketball Game Preview: Sutton Sammies/Suzies vs. Uxbridge Spartans + Official Tickets

Sutton is 6-1 against Uxbridge since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Sammies/Suzies will be home for the holidays to greet the Spartans at 6:30 p.m.

After dropping their season opener at home, Uxbridge is headed out to face a Sammies/Suzies team ready to give their home crowd a win. Sutton fell 64-51 to South on Friday.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Chase Gara, who posted 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gus Jacobson, who scored 14 points.

Meanwhile, Uxbridge had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They breezed past Douglas to the tune of 63-32 on Friday. Surprisingly, this marked the Spartans' fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Sutton better keep an eye on Thatcher Sweeney. He was instrumental in Uxbridge's win, putting up 26 points. Those 26 points gave Sweeney a new career-high. Krish Patel was another key player, posting ten points.

Sutton came out on top in a nail-biter against Uxbridge in their previous meeting back in February, sneaking past 42-39. Do the Sammies/Suzies have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Spartans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
