Bolivar Central had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against the Bolton Wildcats on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won five in a row.

One reason for the win was Bolivar Central's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-13, 25-8.

Bolton is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Bolivar Central will be playing at home against Middleton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bolton, they will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Douglass at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
