Basketball Recap: Jamestown Takes a Loss

Jamestown lost against Maplewood back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Jamestown Muskies received a blow as they fell 43-25 to the Maplewood Tigers. The Muskies' loss continues a trend for the team, making it 14 in a row.

They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Josh Pashakarnis and Lucas Cole, who each put up seven points.

Jamestown's record now sits at 1-15. As for Maplewood, they moved to 6-9 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jamestown will welcome Wilmington at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Maplewood, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Maplewood Tigers face off against the Commodore Perry Panthers at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
