East Limestone had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.8 points) and they went ahead and made it nine on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Brewer Patriots 65-35. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 24 points or more this season.

Brewer's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Hannah Morrison, who went 5 of 11 on her way to 14 points along with seven boards and three blocks, and Madisyn Freeman, who posted 13 points and three steals. That was a full 40% of Brewer's points, marking the third time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points.

East Limestone's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-4. As for Brewer, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Limestone will challenge Athens at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brewer, they will take on Ardmore at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
