It's playoff time, and Orange Beach had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Curry Yellowjackets on Thursday as they made off with a 9-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Makos, who have now won 37 games by six runs or more so far this season.

KG Favors spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on five hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Katie King, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Jayde Palmer, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

The victory was the 18th in a row for Orange Beach, bringing their record up to 47-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.9 runs on average over those games. As for Curry, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 55-5 record.

As of now, neither Orange Beach nor the Yellowjackets have any future games scheduled.
