Fans were treated to a battle of the Lions on Thursday. Lyons put the hurt on Minneapolis with a sharp 13-3 win. Lyons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by seven runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Lyons' third in a row) raised their record to 7-4. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Minneapolis, they dropped their record down to 2-10 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Minneapolis will face off against Southeast of Saline on Tuesday. Lyons will be paying especially close attention to Minneapolis' contest: after Minneapolis faces off against Russell, they'll take on Lyons again on Thursday.
