Football Recap: Pearl-Cohn Victorious + How To Watch

Pearl-Cohn's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Kenwood Knights a 19-0 shutout. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Firebirds' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while the Knights are ranked 205th).

Pearl-Cohn's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Kenwood, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pearl-Cohn will square off against Springfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Firebirds their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Kenwood, they are taking a road trip to take on Northwest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
