The Emerald Ridge Jaguars had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They enjoyed a cozy 50-36 victory over Bothell on Friday. This was one game where the offenses had no trouble playing at a high level.

Emerald Ridge's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jake Schakel, who threw for 217 yards and three touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Schakel is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Navarre Dixon, who rushed for 146 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry.

Emerald Ridge has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. As for Bothell, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.

Emerald Ridge will head out on the road to face off against Kamiakin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Kamiakin's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last six matchups. Bothell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
