Baseball Game Preview: Shorecrest Scots vs. Lynnwood Royals

For the second straight game, Shorecrest will face off against Lynnwood. The Scots will venture away from home to challenge the Royals at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Shorecrest's hitters haven't had much luck over their past three matchups, but Friday's contest will give them a chance to turn things around.

Shorecrest had taken Lynnwood down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Wednesday. The Scots fell 5-2 to the Royals.

Hudson Ekstrom was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Quinn Burnham, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one double.

Shorecrest's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Lynnwood, their win ended an 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-12.
