Baseball Game Preview: Normandy Invaders vs. Bay Rockets

The Normandy Invaders will venture away from home to take on the Bay Rockets at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Normandy is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering University School just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Preppers. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Invaders were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Bay came up short against Lakewood on Saturday, falling 30-2. The Rockets have struggled against the Rangers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Normandy now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Bay, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.

Normandy got the 'W' when the teams last played back in May of 2025 against Bay by a conclusive 11-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Invaders since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
