Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chowchilla). Everything went their way against the Sierra Chieftains on Tuesday as the Chowchilla Tribe made off with a 14-1 win. With that victory, the Tribe brought their scoring average up to 2.6 goals per game.

Their offense was hitting Sierra from everywhere, as nine different players booted in a goal. David Perez-Borges led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

Chowchilla's win bumped their record up to 7-3-3. As for Sierra, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Chowchilla will square off against Parlier at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Chowchilla is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season. Sierra has already played their next match, a 1-0 defeat against Laton on the 15th.
