Basketball Recap: Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus Extends Road Winning Streak to Three

Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Morgan Park Academy Warriors by a score of 61-49. Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus' win was all the more impressive since the Warriors were averaging only 28 points allowed on the season.

Morgan Park Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Tiara Williams and Cecelia Drown. Williams posted 21 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals, while Drown went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc on her way to 18 points. Williams' evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Lomax, who had two points and six boards.

As for Morgan Park Academy, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-2.
