Football Recap: Stewarts Creek Comes Up Short

After flying high against LaVergne last Friday, Stewarts Creek came back down to earth. The Red Hawks were outmatched by the Blackman Blaze and fell 35-7. The Red Hawks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

Stewarts Creek's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-4. As for Blackman, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.

Stewarts Creek and Blackman will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Red Hawks see the field they'll take on Webb at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for Blackman, their break will end when they face Smyrna on the 17th.
