Basketball Recap: Buchanan Gets the Win

Buchanan hadn't done well against Clovis North recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Buchanan Bears walked away with a 66-58 victory over the Clovis North Broncos. For the Bears, this counts as revenge for the 80-58 win the Broncos walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Buchanan and bumps their season record up to 19-3. As for Clovis North, their loss ended an 18-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 17-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buchanan will welcome Clovis East at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Clovis North, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Clovis West at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
